The Geelong (Victoria) plant is Omya's newest production facility in Australia. It was established in 1993 and expanded in 1995 to include wet milling operations.

The plant produces slurry products for copy paper as well as paper and cardboard coating. Additionally it produces a range of high brightness industrial fillers and extenders for Victoria's manufacturing industry. The Geelong plant quality system is accredited to ISO 9002 (certificate number QEC4194).

The plant is located on Corio Bay and receives its raw materials by sea.
